Level 2: Holistic Hypnotherapy
Training
4 Classroom Days
Level 2 focuses on the mechanics of psychological change. Students examine belief formation, perceptual filtering and behavioural conditioning through both cognitive and neurobiological frameworks. Emphasis is placed on structured intervention models, emotional processing and measurable outcome setting. By the end of this level, students can facilitate belief-driven change with greater accuracy and therapeutic intention.
Day 1
- Students will:
- Understand the evolving role of the hypnotherapist in facilitating belief-driven behaviour change
- Learn how perception and internal filters shape subjective reality
- Explore how change occurs, whether instant, cumulative, or retrospective
- Understand the brain’s role in hypnosis and how hypnotherapy supports neuroplasticity
- Learn a structured meta-pattern for guiding change
- Strengthen core communication skills, including rapport, active listening, and therapeutic presence
- Be introduced to indirect Ericksonian language patterns and experience a Milton style induction
Day 2
- Students will:
- Learn how to set well-formed outcomes for effective therapeutic work
- Understand emotional processing and structured release techniques
- Explore developmental stages and their relevance in belief formation
- Learn practical tools for working with emotional patterns
- Develop the ability to create and guide safe internal resource states for clients
Day 3
- Students will:
- Understand how association and dissociation techniques work, and when to use each therapeutically
- Learn future pacing to stabilise and integrate change
- Recognise distorted perceptual filters and cognitive distortions
- Practice working with perceptual positions to expand awareness
- Learn anchoring techniques to reinforce emotional states
- Be introduced to structured interventions done in a hypnotic state to resolve interpersonal issues
Day 4
- Students will:
- Learn techniques for working with fears and phobias
- Practice structured reframing and fast phobia processes
- Understand the mind-body connection in pain perception
- Learn hypnotherapeutic pain management techniques and appropriate indications and contraindications
- Be introduced to bilateral stimulation within hypnotic work
By the end of Level 2, students possess structured tools for facilitating emotional and behavioural change with clinical awareness and professional competence.
