Level 1: Holistic Hypnotherapy Training
2 Classroom Days
Level 1 establishes a clear and grounded understanding of hypnosis. Students study the mechanics of trance, subconscious processing and suggestion theory while gaining direct practical experience. The focus is precision, safety and professional structure. By the end of these two days, students can confidently conduct a structured induction, understand trance depth and deliver intentional suggestion placements with clarity.
Day 1
- Students will:
- Understand what hypnosis is and how it fits within the wider therapeutic field
- Learn how trance is a natural state and how to recognise when it is occurring
- Explore common myths and misconceptions about hypnosis
- Learn the basic theory of the conscious and subconscious mind and how our minds function
- Understand the hypnotic state and different levels of awareness
- Be introduced to safety, ethics, and professional responsibility
- Practice foundational induction techniques
Day 2
- Students will:
- Learn additional induction methods and deepening techniques
- Understand suggestibility and how responsiveness works
- Explore the foundations of rapport and professional client relationships
- Learn the structure of a typical first session
- Practice suggestion placement and language precision
- Conduct a full hypnosis sequence from induction through emergence
- Receive a self-hypnosis template for personal and professional use
By the end of Level 1, students can safely conduct a full hypnosis induction, structure a session professionally and understand the technical foundations of trance and suggestion.
